Name our mouse…. reader competition.

Poor little mouse…. he has no name!

We have decided to help him in his quest for a name, and for now have called him  MACEY.

He is “ok” with that… for now, but really is looking to find a “cool or funky” name or one that is “hip” as thats what represents his personality he says.  He is 40cm tall with the cutest tail and loves to play games and be dragged about.

He says he wont eat much, and will sleep where ever you put him and will even enjoy getting dressed up and have tea parties and go on wild advetures as a pirate or power ranger!

All he wants a bed of his own (not in a warehouse here with me, he says)

a home with a special little girl or boy who will love and cuddle and play with him.  He wants to feel “special” .  He wants to be wrapped up and opened at Christmas time and see the wide eyed face and love from a little girl or boy that will instantly cuddle and love him.  you can pick him up here where he is just waiting patiently.  He would make an idea baby  present or gift for a child.  Great for any kids birthday gift or Christmas gift.

ahhhhh

Can you help?

We are looking to find him a name… do you have any suggestions?

post the name you think best describes him in the comments box below and you could win him to be your very own…

Competition starts today and finished Sept 30th.

Winner will be announced in our newsletter (sign up here) and also on this blog.

Elizabeth “C’mon Macey thats all we can do for now, we will pop back later and see if any names have popped up”

Macey “oh…. do we really have to go?  Can’t I just wait…. someone might think I am sooo cute and looove me….”

Elizabeth “Oh I am sure they will…  we WILL come back later, I promise”

Elizabeth and Macey walk away, hand in hand, Macey dragging his tail and head down low…. and sneeks a quick look back”

Kids In Style ~ Nanny Pickle & Bad Bunny

Published by Elizabeth under Uncategorized

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, there lived a sweet, savvy and slightly quirky nanny, known throughout the land as “NANNY PICKLE”

From the wonderful world of Nanny Pickle comes the playful range of clothing and accessories for infants.  Born out of whimsy and a daydream, Nanny Pickle and her two trusty au pairs: Miss Shannon and Miss Jennine create beautiful collections of delightful infantwear, divine cards for baby and mama, and delectable co-ordinated nursery accessories.

The raw materials that make up the fabrics are organic and grown free
of pesticides and fertilisers. The bamboo is both 100% biodegradable
and naturally regenerative

Featuring the mischief and mis adventures of BAD BUNNY

Bad Bunny Collection

BAD BUNNY mis adventure words of wisdom like:

Bad Bunny dont run with scissors,

Bad Bunny dont play with matches

Bad Bunny wash your mouth out with soap

Bad Bunny No use crying over spilt milk

many other sayings I know I have heard all through my childhood, you probably have too!  From our mothers’, their mothers’, and their mothers’ mothers’.  Its a cheeky and delightful clothing collection … just for your Bad Bunny!

There is also a MOD Babe range and a Legend Babe Collection (Luxurious and contemporary) range “out of the mouth of babes”,  which I cracked myself laughing when I read the quotable quotes from the legends of our time.  There is also the Bad Bunny and his Meadow Friends collection which is so adorable.  The mischief of childhood; Bad Bunny and his meadow friends find themselves in all sorts of predicaments.  They are all so cute and all too funny!

The papier collection featuring Vintage and Victorian cards, invitations, doorknob hangers and quarterly update cards are a beautiful range.  Reminiscent of a bygone era and a wisful time, you will be as impressed as I am by their quality and humorous notations.

Papier Collection

Miss Jennine, au pair above is doing a grand job keeping track of little Bad Bunny, but may need some help.  Be on the look out for Bad Bunny and the wonderful world of Nanny Pickle….  you will be hearing a lot more about them!

Kids In Style ~ Gin&Tonic and G&Tkids

I was very fortunate to have found some amazing new kids items including these from The Little Safari Collection.  Gin&Tonic have just launched their G&Tkids collection and I just love the new debut range, “The Little Safari”.

The Little Safari Collection draws inspiration from many childhood dreams and wild imaginations.  The collection features everyday essentials with a twist of fun and excitement that every child and every parent will love.

The alphabet print really reminds me of a day at the circus when I was a very young child….. and the elephant print inspires my imagination like a little girl.  Oh the memories!

I was drawn to this colourful and stylish design… I think you will too.  PVC Placemats, 100% cotton bibs and matching cushion set,  with the purple elephant or alphabet theme.  Absolutely stunning.

I am thrilled that Georgie and Tom allowed me to showcase their products to show you… and watch out as you will soon be seeing them on the La Toriana website coming very soon.

Georgie & Tom are expecting their first baby later in the year, so we will keep you informed about how they are doing.  The below statement from them sums it up.  check out their homewares on their website… very whimsical and inspiring….

“Fashion is not only seen on catwalks.  It has now evolved into the home. It  is not only a trend, but a way of life. Fashion for the home is a must”

Kids In Style ~ me2me2

Published by Elizabeth under Uncategorized

me2me2  was a treasure find at Kids In style in Melbourne this year.  For ages I had been looking for a boys hipster tool belt with all the tools, a real spirit level, a real hammer, a retractable measuring tape, battery free torch, all in an adjustable tool belt with quick release buckles.  A “real tradies” kit with lots of pockets to assist in holding all those much needed tools to get your job done!

…. and here it is!  Not only that, I was so wrapped to find a littl girls hairdressing set with all the trimmings including a cape… just like being at the hair dressers!

me2me2 is a business that set out to provide unique and innovative products that inspire positive role play.  I love the boys tool kits the best …  all boys love doing what dads do… but let me say too though… the girls like having their own tool kits too as they watch mum (me) do a lot of handyman things about the house too!  Same goes for the boys…. they can get creative with mums hairdo with the hairdressing set too!

  Sue and Sarah from me2me2

me2me2 concept started around 2 years ago when the above pair realised there was a lack of fun, educational products for the 5 and over range. “Our own children always wanted what we, as adults, had. So we started to source things that adults have that kids wanted, that inspired positive role play. These include our toolbelts with real tools, hairdressing kits and cooking sets – where we designed some cookie cutters to be a toolset and a glamour set.”

Well ladies, I honestly think you are on a winner with these, was lovely catching up and I look forward to catching up with you again soon  ~ Elizabeth xx
