KooL KidZ ~ Healthy kids breakfast thats YUM
Lilli
Love the shots of Lilli and Sophie in their Tea Princess outfits…. gorgeous mini fashionista’s here!
Healthy Breakfast Tip…
This recipe sounds weird, but I came up with it while making a carrot cake, and it works with my girls.
When I make porridge in the morning, I finely grate in the saucepan some carrot and/or zucchini, cook it a little, add the porridge ingredients and then cook as per the instructions.
At the last minute I throw in some frozen blueberries or raspberries.
Lilli and Sophie then get to sprinkle on some cinnamon sugar and swirl on some maple syrup and they love it.
On days I know they might not be eating so well (going out to a party or restaurant) I don’t worry to much about what they eat as they have already had a serve of vegi’s, fruit, dairy and grain. The cinnamon sugar and maple syrup they pop on is generally less than the sugar included in most kids cereals.

Hope your’re having a lovely day. It’s so rainy here it was a great day for porridge, we had zucchini and blueberry today.

Hope you dont mind Linda… I wanted to share your comments to me here as well. Was so touching… thank you
Hi Elizabeth,
before I get onto my tip, I’ll just say that if you do use it I don’t require a gift. I just really enjoy reading the blog and go into it on a daily basis. I was also moved by your recent post heavy heart empty arms. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, as I said I was moved and wanted to comment, but anything I could think of saying seemed so without depth in comparison. So to sound cheesy, I already have my ‘gift’, just in reading your regular posts.
Oh this was just so gorgeous I am so glad that the blog is read by all you wonderful people. I know in heart it feels right… it gives me meaning. Thank you… more than you could know.
Warmly
Elizabeth xx
