These days Tiana is more fussy about what she wants to wear. 

Now dont get me wrong, she’s easy… a great all rounder when it comes to clothes!  She will wear her finest party dresses when we are out at restaurants or functions, but then loves nothing better than changing into her gumboots, shorts and singlet and going to attend the sheep with dad.  These days however she has become more vocal in what she would like to wear, rather than just accepting what I put out for her. 

I have had a few people ask me what does Tiana prefer to wear?  so  I thought over the next couple weeks will tell you!

Fist up I thought it fitting since The Little ONE Baby magazinephoto shoot was so recent, let you know what Tiana picked out.  It was without any hesitation at all she chose the TikiBoo Kidz  black and white skirt.  Its a full skirt and she has worn it many, many times,  Its so comfortable she would tell me and I can twirl and twirl.  Its not frilly or tizzy, but more classic which she loves. 

Next was this singlet.  Gorgeous designer momie et enfant.  We have had this singlet for 8 months now and she loves it.  It does go really well with her jeans for a casual look and this skirtor a party outit.  Shoes… she wanted bare feet and Lisa Nankervis the photographer for Little One baby magazine was very accommodating.  Tiana loved that she didn’t have to wear shoes! (Thank you to Little ONE baby magazine for allowing me to use this photo and to Lisa who she often talks about the BEST photo shoot)

A few snaps I took above shows a bit more of the momie et enfant singlet.  Tiana loved it so much I actually asked if we could stock it!!!!!  I just know many other little girls will love this vintage look as much as Tiana does.  The motif at the front is a gorgeous little bird, and as you can see there is a motif on the back as well.  Antique lace capped sleeve completes the outfit.  You can find the momie et enfant singlet and other items stocked at la Toriana here. Like the headband it is from Bethany’s Child.

TikiBoo Kids clothing has always taken Tiana’s interest, but none more than this skirt.   You can see by the age of Tiana how long she has had it… a year at least at it washes up beautifully every time. Its a true testament to the quality of the materials and garment by TikiBoo Kids.

As you can see from the age of Tiana… we have had this same skit quite sometime.. and yes its the same skirt.  TikiBoo Kids use a high quality material and washes up beautifully time after time!  Team beautifully with a White or  black and is tran seasonal so can be worn anytime of the year!

Every child is unique and beautiful in many different ways. Kate and Jacqui design bold stunning styles to reflect and enhance the beauty of all children in this world.

We began this journey because we believed that we could bring something new and unique to fashion for children and babies. If you have ever heard the saying “We do not own the Earth, we merely borrow it from our children” you will understand what Three Little Trees is all about.

With every garment there are native seeds according to the country the garments are sold in attached to each swing tag. The idea here is that children from all over the earth; while looking stylish, can plant these little seeds and watch our world grow with them. This tiny little thing that we can teach our children to do will sustain our earth for their children and grandchildren for many years to come. Educating our children on sustainability is of great importance to the ethos of Three Little Trees.

We are mums and we know what is practical and what works in the daily activities of little ones. We have gone to a great deal of effort to create sensible stylish ranges, and we hope you all enjoy them as much as we have in designing them.

Hot HOT HOT… yep YmamaY? shipment has arrived and is HOT going out to many houses as THE special Christmas designer fashion item for little girls this 2009 Summer.  

YmamaY?  is a New Zealand designer kids fashion label that has hit Australia this season.  La Toriana is so proud to be one of the first to showcase this gorgeous kids fashion label and its an absolute show stopper.

This ISSY dress (above) has caused quite a stir in many circles and has been love at first sight!.  Its one of the MUSThaves for any party  this season and  we just know many Christmas parties will showcase little, young girls looking so classy, girly and so so pretty in this dress.

This ISSY dress by YmamaY? is easy to wear, and looks sophisticated and expensive.  Being so light weight and “whimisical” and the colour is so special, it gives the impression straight away as “designer” “expensive” “unique”. But really its a so affordable for a high end designer wear item like this.

This dress was just great for a day like today.  I can just see it being a really special party dress and brides looking for flower girl dresses, and junior bridesmaid dresses will flock to it.  Its a GREAT price and looks a million dollars.  Teams beautifully with the white pearl necklace and bracelet form Little Pearls for Little girls too.  Keep an eye out for the bridal magazines everywhere as I can just see the little fashionglams in there!

  I can really see this dress as a special flowergirl, junior bridesmaid dress and even as a Christening dressfor the littlies.  Its such a unique spin on 100% cotton and so soft and silky… it has everyone raving about it.  Below is one of our most gorgeous Customers.. the first one to buy an ISSY dress from YmamaY?   She is stunning.  Thanks Linda for allowing us to show this, and thank you for being such a wonderful customer.

I can see this dress as a great Summer special occasion girls dress, but what I love is the fact you could wear it all year round.  With a white long sleeve top, or even better with black leggings and black top underneath for a totally different look.  Accessories to match like the Princess Allureorganza hair clip, and the most gorgeous pearl bracelet and pearl necklace from Little Pearls for Little Girls, complete this designer outfit for your little fashionista.

I quickly asked if she could try on just one other thing  (we were really pressed for time.  Remember we live out of the township and takes 20 min to drive there)  please just try on a a tee (above)  for me too…  she is so easy… she said yes very easily and took off the dress.  The popped on the Maison Tee and as soon as she did… loved it so much she didn’t want to take it off, so we set off  to meet her friends in town….  looked so cute with her black short leggings! 

Lol its the Mason Tee (made for boys) , but honestly think its quite unisex!!!   I know this will be a fav of Tiana’s.  She is just so comfortable with T’s, leggings or shorts and gumboots around the house, just as she is getting all glammed up when she goes out. (what great all rounder she is)  Priced at $35.95  Great price for a unique designer T shirt.

This was a rushed photo shoot straight after breakfast before we had to take her to The Discovery Centre with her friends.  She was a trooper.  I must say… Tiana is a great reviewer.  Will  honestly tell you dead straight if she likes, or rather doesn’t like and suggestions (this is from a 7 yr old!!) … and this was great!  It was so hot today, at 8am was 33 degrees.  She loved the lightness, the feel and the feeling “I can fly” she said.

I tell you,  my prediction is she will be in fashion… not as a model, but as a critique, reviewer? maybe even as an editor!  She knows what she likes, dislikes and what she would like to see improved.  She sees things differently to me and the both aspects of the review is great.   If you need an honest review of anything in kids clothing, toys and accessories, she can help!

but right now she is tossing up between a fairy, a movie maker or an astronaut!!!!

This Christmas, little fairy princesses are everywhere.  Oh and they are all so PRETTY!
